Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

When should I seek professional wound care?
You should consult a wound care specialist if your wound hasn’t started to heal within 1–2 weeks, becomes painful, shows signs of infection (redness, swelling, pus, odor), or if you have an underlying condition like diabetes or poor circulation.
We treat a wide range of acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure sores (bedsores), surgical wounds, venous leg ulcers, traumatic injuries, and burns.
The frequency depends on the type and severity of the wound. Some patients require weekly visits, while others may need more frequent monitoring until the wound shows consistent improvement.
Follow your care team’s instructions closely. This often includes proper dressing changes, maintaining hygiene, managing blood sugar (if diabetic), staying hydrated, and avoiding pressure on the wound area.
Some procedures may cause mild discomfort, especially during dressing changes or debridement. We take every measure to minimize pain and keep you comfortable throughout your treatment.
Healing time varies depending on the wound type, location, your overall health, and how well aftercare instructions are followed. Some wounds heal in weeks, while others may take longer with ongoing care.
